TIME FLIES......

Time just seems to get away from me. I can't believe that it has been over three weeks since i have posted ANYTHING. Thanks to my friends who have continued to post comments in my absence. Lots has been going on in our lives including baseball tournaments, chemo, football practices and work, work, work!! I worked 10 out of 12 days to help fill in while there was the need. I just about did me in, but thanks to Ryne, I was able to pull through. He is such a great kid, even though he is a TEENAGER!! He has been giving up his life to stay home and keep the other kids in order. I don't really know how to thank him. Kyle had chemo last week, it was a little rough but after 2 days in the hospital he came home and has done great. What a trooper. We go to SLC in July for scans and chemo and to see the oncologist. the same day Ky was scheduled for chemo I came home after working and found Abby asleep on my floor. It was really cute until i got up close and smelled her. Apparently she had been throwing up since 2am and had gotten some on her shirt. We quickly changed her and cleaned her up just in time for her to puke again. Oh Joy!! It was a long 24 hours of throwing up and fevers over 103. She pulled threw and is now bouncing around the house like our little princess. Tyler got selected to the little league all stars for a 3 day tournament in Parowan. His team played beautifully and beat every team they went up against. The closest score was 19-2. Watching my little "Boulder Boy" out there playing just made me realize how truly blessed our family really is. He wasn't even supposed to be playing any type of sports and yet here he is playing with the best of the best and doing so incredibly well. Wow!!! What a great summer this is!!

We are lucky we both have boys like Ryne. He sounds like a great kid. I am sorry you had to deal with summer flu. It doesn't sound like it was much fun.

Hey Julie you have had such great news since your last post. You need to post and get it in there.

You also need to add a skinny photo of you to show everyone how great you look.

The Waiting Game

June 4---Oh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!!!!
Well today is the day that we should find out exactly what we are going to do with Kyle's broken wrist. Our Appointment with Dr Jesaviar, the bone specialist, is at 10:30 and it couldn't come sooner. It has been a long couple of painful days with Kyle. With not having that bone set in the right place the pain has contined even though his wrist is splinted. We have learned that Kyle is officially allergic to yet another medication, Lortab!! Lots of fun cleaning up puke for almost a week straight---chemo was just last wednesday. So, today is up in the air with what we will be doing. One great thing happens today---My best buddy Jen comes home today!!! It feels like forever since I have seen her even though we talk at least once a day. Having great friends is such a life line for me. Get back to you later after the dr's appt. Think positive!!

HOLY COW.....WHAT A DAY!!!! June 2

I thought that sharing my crazy wacked out life with people would somehow make it slow down and maybe become somewhat normal. WRONG!!! so today was like any other day after mom has worked allnight. The kids were still in their jammies at 11:00 and breakfast was just being served by big brother Ryne. Not a big deal really at least they were eating. I was trying to get a little nap when Ryne came into my room to tell me that Kyle had wrecked on his bike and "broke his wrist!" I jumped out of bed ,went into the living room and inspected the damages. The wrist didn't look all that bad, a little swollen but nothing obvious to a mother who was still half asleep. Things change very quickly. Within one hour his wrist had doubled in size and he was hurting really badly. It was time for some professional help. We set off to the instacare where were told to go straight to the Emergency Room. At the ER, x-rays were taken and we were asked who "our bone doctor was"!! Were chose Dr Jezavar who promptly informed us that Kyle's arm was indeed fractured but too swollen to do anything with today.... Come back on Wednesday and we will decide how to fix it then. They splinted his arm and gave him drugs and we will see what the next 48 hours brings us???!!!
